Surf Casting for Shark

Illogical? Improbable?

Has anyone surf casted for shark anywhere in RP?

I did but I never caught any.

The guards at Santo Tomas net them at night.Usually one to three feet long

Thanks Jerry, sounds like I wouldn't have to worry about anything much more than 4 feet or so just reading through as much as the Google machine will tell me. If anyone else has any info it'd be much appreciated!

Give it a try down by the new home port. Pretty sure you'll catch a few "sharks" down there!

On type of Ray that's common and a blast to catch from shore is the guitar fish and yes, they get bigger than this one.

Thanks Kenny, got one of those on squid last June, was hoping for something a little more toothy. Landshark, not sure exactly what you're referring to, but if the sharks wear white security hats and take $20 bills as bait, I think I'll pass on that one :D
