Goen Fishing

I have been reading some posts from last year at this time and I see that the water temp (high) may have been affecting the bite. I'm going to be fishing from shore and in a Kayak at the estuaries this weekend and wanted to know if the temp was still high and what that might do to my plans on ketchen any.

Last Friday the water was pretty warm..lots of fish near shore but did not fish...should be good

Got to remember it is about the fishing not the catching.
I believe we met yesterday in Bass Pro buying a few lures.

It's pretty calm in Las Conchas right now. Small rolling waves as the tide comes in.
I hope the wind stays calm for the weekend.

Wind good and bad as usual. am has been ok for the last few days but gets a little rough for rely small craft.
I don't worry about it on the jet ski but it get a little tough to fish and the wind makes it cold as I get wet top to bottom when I am running in any direction.
I did pretty good on Friday. Got a small pinto 5 0r 6 lbs. and nice triggers and cabrilla.
