.50 cal? Like I said... the cartel is better armed than the police! Yikes.
Many .50 cal rounds can actually go through an engine block. Stopping power, indeed.
My condolences to the officers that went up against this.

This heavy machine gun is effective against virtually everything in its path, including boats, cars, and other vehicles. That's what I was issued in the army many years ago.
Maybe this baby Jack? One of the most famous and longest-serving weapons of the U.S. Army, the .50 cal. (12.7mm) M2 (originally model No. M1923) was developed by John M. Browning at the end of World War I, and continues in use, essentially unchanged into the 21st Century.
Kenny, I don't need no stinkin pictures. I have a vivid memory from both WWI & WWII.
Actually I had the fun of firing off many rounds while at Camp Chaffee, in Arkansas. I
understand there were people ducking for shelter as far as Oklahoma.
Those 50 cal Barretts will set you back $8,000 or more just for the rifle alone. And they're expensive to feed. I haven't bought one yet, but it might make a buffalo hunt real interesting.
