I found it on an El Golfo site, and had it in my pics and accidentally posted it, then tried to delete it and it popped up as a thumbnail, if it is El Golfo, it has to be a little north out toward Los Paradones, where the hills begin. I caught a small great white (6 foot) near Konsag, back in the early 90's which is the small Island or big rock between San Felipe and Penasco and also not to far from the fish camp at Los Paradones.
A few BEAUTIFUL photos from last night. A great addition to the pic of the day, wouldn't you agree ??
I feel like a Romney voter today....the better team lost but unforced errors by us and scewed officiating turned the tide.Plus lets see ASU coach's long form birth certificate...oh and wait till basketball season!
I'll definitely concede the basketball season to UofA Jerry. ASU has almost never been competitive in basketball. I don't see that changing any time soon.
But, I've always enjoyed the standard UofA ad-hominem misdirection of saying "wait until basketball season" whenever they lose or are having a bad season in football. Says a lot about a team that has never been to a Rose Bowl that they have to defer to another sport to explain away their losing ways.
As for ASU's losing ways in football, they have flat out underperformed and stunk the past several years. But, I refuse to defer to baseball season to explain away their deficiencies.
A very satisfying win. Not quite as satisfying as blocking 2 extra points to win two years ago, but pretty close!
Agree, good game, That's why they play the game, over the years its always been hard being a wildcat fan, knowing how hard you guys party up there and always have a better time than us underdogs.
Nuclear Reactors parked at playa encanto, rumor has it they dropped one in the water in 78, who knows maybe that's why they are so grumpy out there. Huh Terry.
Was that pic taken this past weekend? That's a lot more people than I would think would be down there now. From what I can tell it looks like it was shot to the west in front of Sonoran Spa or Sea?

The camera says 7:15 am, but I don't think I was on the beach at 7:15 am so it is not trustworthy it was either a Saturday or Sunday early August like the 10th or 11th not sure, why?
We have never been brave enough to go to RP in the very hot, icky, sticky summer months, and had no idea how crowded it got!
I think we will stick to the "slower times" when we just about have the beaches all to ourselves
Until you hit a bump and the whole front fiberglass comes flying off. Plus I have those same tires BFG AT and they are not good in sand. But as our esteemed colleague Kenny will point out, lowering the pressure down to 12 pounds can mean all the difference.
Just found these old pics from November 2002 of the steam generators being offloaded at the end of Encanto. These things were GIGANTIC, for perspective compare the height of some of the workers to the generators.
We were here when they came in. There were a lot of Mexican Nationals there protesting it because they thought they were nuclear reactors. It was cleared up soon.
