Federal Protection

A notorious forum member, fisher person and poster garnered Federal protection of his rig while parked at Capones. His truck and boat were parked right in front of the Federales machine gun emplacement at the hotel next door. Would have been a real mess if they had to shoot. No fishing report though so maybe............. I guess he did alright as I'm sure I smelled a strong fishy odor as I drove by.

I parked right in front of them a couple of weeks ago and thought to myself, well at least my kayak and nothing out of the back of my truck is getting stolen. lolol Got a little Federal sympathy as they watched me gimp into Capones!

The boat was supposed to be cover... you weren't supposed to see the machine gun behind it.

Or, maybe you only assume they were out fishing - perhaps they were actually unloading the machine gun following a very productive day of sea-lion hunting...

Either way, the Federales must have been some really cool dudes to offer to guard that guy's boat for him like that.

Moore is a celebrity over at Capones. He gets the full service treatment.

Well the smell of his boat may have put off some outside diners !!!!

You're lucky Roberto didn't notice, or you might have made the front page of the RockyPoint Times....

To be fair- we ASKED the Federales if we could park there, and they said "no problemo".

However, I failed to run up the street to Roberto's house to ask HIM if it was ok. Lesson learned for next time
