Here is a link to a video of the slide that I found on you tube. You can clearly see the slide exits over 24" above the water and does not exit perpendicular. in fact, the kid crashes into the side of the pool in this video.
No I didn't tape him going down the slide. Too bad because you would see how dangerous the slide really is. However, I did make a video of your 200 pound wife eating at the buffet. It is too disturbing to post that video though.

Our experiences with medical care in Mexico have always been positive. Our son had his head stitched up and they did a first rate job. The cost was so inexpensive that we couldn't believed it. Think we paid something around $5usd to have the stitches removed...lol.
