I crossed back into AZ at 1:15pm today. A 3 car wait going north; about a dozen cars headed south. Many were RVs or towing so the time per vehicle may have been higher than usual.
We crossed around 4:00 PM and there were 4 cars ahead of us. Everyone was sent on, no questions. On the Mexican side one was pulled over checking his ice chest. No huge tubs collecting all the meats that I seen. LOL. Was a safe trip down. I didnt even get shot at. I plan on going to the race to see whats up and I will bring my own chair.
Like I say, life is a beach at Playa Encanto.
went passed the booth at 4:30pm a short line to US 5 or 6 cars however for a Thursday there was quite the line of cars, RVs and trucks pulling toys all the way to Tucson, I hope that things keep going this way and glad that there has been no more fake warnings by anybody!!
3 days ago some guys at Santo Tomas with a bunch of dune buggy type stuff (Jet skis,atvs ...hell even a friggin powered parasail) had to turn back and get rid of all the canned gas they had before being allowed back in....gets me an extra bit of sleep every morning before the motor fest starts anew
They caught me bringing in 5 gal of race gas a while back. Wouldn't take the money, just sent me back! I sold it to the guy at the gas station. He said he needed it for his sand car.
