Razor Clam?

Well, it for sure doesn't look like they do in WA. I don't think it is a razor. Any locals to ask?

I believe they are call "pen shell clams", grow big and they are beautiful irredecent inside!!

You're correct Inks... they also have a big callo (ki yo) a.k.a. scallop... and if you check all the slimey parts of the animal you may find black pearls in them... pen shells are usually burried deep in a sandy/rocky bottom surface and only about 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches of the widest end of the shell sticks out of the sand... they also have long byssal threads coming out from the narrow end to help them anchor to the bottom...
