I'm still working. I can't leave something that young alone all day.......... Are they at Nancy's? No, don't answer that! Is it male or female? No, no no! Never mind........ I wish I could get retired!!!!! Argh!!!
These are small enough to take to work in one of those cute little carry packs. These puppies have not liven in air conditioned spendor. They live outside. Good shade, lots of water and some food and it will be waiting for you to come home from work.
No, Nancy did feel she had the time to take care of thems so she gave them to Dee. I will find out which the black one is and let you know ASAP !!

I'll agree with that comment....my previous dog was one..... but you have name of the breed all wrong...they are the "Mexican Purebred", and easily become "legal"!
Joe Sez: "my previous dog was one". WAS, WAS.... that means you are ready for another. Chari has dibs on the black one but ther are 3 more lovelies to choose from.
Sorry Roberto....I have another dog...inherited when my mom passed away....this one is also a "shelter"/rescue dog....I can only handle one at a time....
Leave it outside?!?!?!?! I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy! Even my tough little Mexicat won't stay outside very long in the summer! I remember the first summer I had him here, I came home from work one evening and when I opened the door, he was asleep in the exact geographical center of my waterbed, on his back all 4 paws up and the ceiling fan was ruffling his fur. I said, "get up, lazy" and he opened one eye halfway and grumbled and then closed his eye and went back to sleep! That was the instant I realized that he had assimilated into the American way! LOL!
I work in a highrise on Central. They wouldn't be as tolerant of that as when we were in a little grubby office on Indian School.
I'll show the pic to my colleague. He lost his dog in March......
Living outside in the US is better than dead on a Penasco street. You could even set up one of those little misters to keep it cool.
I don't know if I'd do that with a puppy...but my dog is outside during the day...has plenty of shade and water, and one of those "individual" misters....he seems to have discovered that cool spot. I did have someone go over and let him in the house in the afternoon the past couple of days that were really a scorcher. Seems to have survived!!!
Plenty of water, plenty of shade...he'll be fine. Growing up in PHX, our house did not have air. Remember taking several showers a day! Maybe a little swimming pool. I do that for my dogs here in Colorado every summer...
Gee Roberto - I have never given Dee any dogs !!!!!!

when I was there in july we brought a puppy home with us. some guys were throwing it into the water saying in english he loves to swim .. poor baby i gave them 5 dollars brought him back home with me and my 4 poodles in my car, at border no one said anything, I just handed my kids and my passport NOTHING..I had 3 people and 5 dogs they said nothing. long story short best little dog ever even though he outweighs my poodles by triple and still growing. I got him in front of condos on playa miramar. dorathy and frank gave me flea powder for him, never even gotta say thanks. really best dog ever!!!!!
You were lucky, Kelly. The Americans require a health certificate from a PP vet for dogs brought into the US. I brought a cat home 4 years ago but was told that they will let you bring cats with no paperwork. I still sweated the crossing but he was asleep in my lap and the agent probably thought I had brought him down. That and everything else in that trip from hell. God was smiling on me. He's the best cat! My friend Brenda got Molly, her wonderful dog, from that same beach last Sept. Mexico dogs and cats are the best! Thank you for helping!
A few months ago I had 28 puppies that I was bottle feeding. Barbara who is Dee's sister offered to bottle feed 5 of them for me. I have been giving her dog food for many years and this is the first time she helped me out. Barbara is holding the puppies in the picture that Roberto claims I gave to Dee. This did not happen. Barbara brought the puppies back to me - all 5 of them. Three have been adopted and two are still here. They were never given to Dee or Roberto!!!!! Grindle one of the 2 remaining pups will be featured in the Sept issue of the Rocky Point Times.
The real estaste business is hurting I know but this is sick !!!!!!!! I am here 24/7 and it is hard work.

Not sure at all what got you so bent about someone trying to help find a home for some puppies. Not clear what is sick about that. Clearly I misunderstood something. Someone else asked on the forum if these pups were with you and I was just responding to that. For that I apologize profusely. I never suggested or implied anything about all the work you do for the animals. Consider me sufficiently chastized. Mea culpa, mea culpa, lo siento it won't happen again.
And to Playa and Lagrimas, you bunch of troublemaking WASHMYMOUTHOUTWITHSOAP, WASHMYMOUTHOUTWITHSOAP next time you guys come by my Mexican Street Dog, Scooter, is gonna bite you both.

I have been by there and We have donated food 4 bags (didn't even get a thankyou) but in these troubled times I send donations to the orphanage.

Well, I thought maybe it was just us, but someone else came away feeling the same way we did. After emailing and then talking with her, we donated on 2 separate occasions. Frankly, we left feeling like we were bothering her. After the last donation, we decided to not return. That was about a year ago.
We struggle in this economy, but we still contribute, just to someone else.
