Biggest danger I saw was "who on earth would want to leave!" - we ended up staying :)

The biggest dangers I had were too much food, too much rum and a big sunburn! Can't wait to put myself in danger again!

Okay, for us dumbasses, please tell me - what were the restaurants? I can't place the different Malecon restaurants by pictures. Any one want to help me out? I need one of those pina coladas!!!

Went to Wrecked at the MALECON, but six dollar coladas are too much!

Main danger I see is after drinking that pina colada I'd think wearing a sombrero was a good idea (it ain't, for me)

Where is the new Wrecked? Are the beer prices that high as well? We love the SB location...

Just opened a tiny place across the land side of the malecon, before OxxO. Big windows with ocean view and small patio. Food, Beers, full bar. didn't check beer prices, but allegedly similar priced menu and drink cart as the original on Sandy B. Happy Hour, all day Sundays. Pina Colada was $6, will go elsewhere for that!

The truck was also part of Wrecked at the Reef's new location? And am I guessing correctly that they serve the drinks inside a whole gutted pineapple?

No, the PinaMobile was over by fisherman's launch around the corner of Malecon. The Reef Wreck Bar stands out on its own. Someone asked about the new bar...

Gotcha, sounds like the new Wrecked is near Mickey's old place, or at least on that next street parallel to the Malecon.

$6 ?!?! I know this is way late on this post, but I think I spent about $10 on all the fixin's and I make a mean Pina Colada. Stop by our condo over Pres Day weekend, I'll be makin' them by the pitcher :chef:
