Looks like she just might jump the peninsula midway and the remainder of the eye will split over San Diego and Yuma.

About 10 years ago before we moved to Penasco full time we lived in Anthem. A freak convolution of weather events occured and we got almost 6" of rain in 90 minutes. One of the most intense rains ever recording in the continental US. (most rain in shortest period) I remember saying to my wife "Wow, it's raining a lot...man, it looks like to pool is going to over flow...crap, the water is coming into the house!" Dozens of houses flooded, downed trees etc etc. WIthin days things were dry as a bone again,

Also, the beach was evacuated. Looks like a lot of rain, and north of Why Not store, the wash is flowing, along with the road to El Golfo (according to RP Times on Facebook).

Been watching via cams on mirador beach by mannys until the power went out about 1/2 hr ago. It's going to br a messs. the waer is breaching the patio walls and going into the homes. did sand bags but they were washed away. i'll

A video of poorly constructed wall section of Las Palomas peeling off was removed from Facebook by the lady that posted it.She and her husband have a new business doing day trips on a big assed power boat.I bett the blow back showing the reality of construction standards on Sandy Beach and what happens in even a minor Tropical storm like this got pretty rough.

Our manager reports storm was nowhere near as bad as the last hurricane
that eastern end has had some of the biggest storm problems over the last few years so maybe most are in good shape

Our side moves north and the Baja side moves south...............when they want to.

Could you please tell us where you got this info from Harvard and Yale? I am a retired secondary researchef (I did research on others people's work) and I have access to the data bases of the Yale School for the Environment, which catalogs all envirmental/climte research done at Yale and it seems what you are refering to doesn't seem to exist. I went to the Harvard University Center for the Enviroment on line research catalog and cannot find anything like that there either. Perhaps yo have a source I do not have access to?
