It looks like Yuppieville, no resemblance at all to the old place.. The rooms in back however were saved and put to another use.. Speaking of houses of ill repute. I bought a lot in the early 90's on the same street ( actually a dirt path) as the Crystal Palace for $1000.00 dllrs.. nobody would buy it,, after they knocked the place down, it turned into a pretty good investment..So even a house of ill repute can be beneficial.
We stopped there and were shown around the revamped premises by one of the American owners. The $15.00 rooms out back were not preserved and have been converted to restrooms and storage closets. A good size bandstand and bar is also in place in the rear, along with a sizable area of green turf.
