We used to buy Pacifico at I think it’s Antonios at the bottom of the hill headed up to El Capitan. Now hearing there is no Pacifico in town. Is this true?

I used to get Pacifico in cases of real bottles (20?) at Reggie's 8/12 on the way to Las Conchas on Freemont but that was ages ago. You'd pay extra and then get like $5 back with a completely full case of empties.
I do NOT miss stressing the entire trip about the location of a missing bottle & who lost it. Now we just get 12 XX's twist-offs at the XOXO just before leaving Sonoyta, ice those up in the cooler on the drive & buy cans in town as needed for the beach--bottles stay in the condo fridge.

That liquor store hasn't sold Corona/Pacifico products in several years.
The liquor store on Freemont & Guanajuato , right behind the Tecate convenience store, sells pretty much all brands of cerveza. Including, Pacifico and Pacifico light.
Corona products have been scarce since mid 2021, Corona can be found occasionally. Sam's had 24 cases of bottles my last 2 trips
down before this past summer where I went into Sam's. The Modelorama Ron Rico store in Cholla has had some Corona and Victoria.
Pacifico lite has only been available in the 1 liter bottles and 12oz cans for the past year. The 1 liter bottles are still scarce.
Victoria is another Corona brand and is getting to be easier to find. (it's OK).
I'll see if the situation is better on my next trip in early Nov.

Are you saying the only thing you can easily find is Dos XXs & effing Tecate swill?

Yep, DosXX, Tecate, Amstell light and Bud Lite are plentiful. Most other Corona products are still very scarce.
Now Tecate lite on tap isn't too bad, but in bottles not so good.
We were down last weekend and yep booze and beer were hit and miss at places.

Blue building has liquor store and bud light sign on face of building. its behind another beer liquor store off of Fremont St.
He thought I didn't know the exchange rate and tried to rip me off for $20 US. Never will buy there again. That was my go-to place for years, but not anymore.
The wind storm was cool to see with the high waves. Seen the Navy ship also. The hurricane really ripped up the houses and the beach. Seen 500lb plus block walls out in the water from the houses on the beach.
It must have been huge waves and wind.
Colored glass for bottles was in short supply for a few years, due to the pandemic, labor shortages and transportation issues.
Supposedly that has gotten better. Seems like the big beer companies like Budweiser have plenty of bottles.
As of Aug. Pacifico in bottles is nowhere to be found, but is plentiful in AZ at $10 for a 6 pack.
Next week I'll find out if the Penasco bottled beer supply has gotten better.
FYI been to 2 places to purchase Tecate. 1 on Fremont and 1 in Las Conchas the beer has gone skunky. If you look at the plastic rings holding the beer it’s turned brown. Had better luck at Leys on Josefa with the twelve packs.
I noticed the brownish rings too. Always thought it was because they are made of seaweed so they decompose faster. Been drinking the 16oz Victoria’s with the brown rings. They’re tasting pretty yummy to me.
Strange as in all of the carbon dioxide anyone could ever need is right there in the air. Also free for the taking as is Oxygen and Nitrogen.
Someone needs to file a report on RIPOFF.COM.
I’m guessing you are just being facetious. It’s like saying all the water we can ever need is in the ocean. The problem isn’t quantity, it’s the cost to remove it.
All of the chlorine we ever need is right there in the ocean. There were just two plants that made it cheaply for the entire USA, one in Torrance California and the other in New Orleans LA. Both shut down by tree hugger ass kissing politicians just after the scamdemic came to be. Now all comes from our best friends the chinks.
I have chlorine generators in my salt water pool and hot tub. Both use only a minor amount of electricity to make all of the chlorine they will ever need.
There is a CO2 shortage and it isn't just limited to the US. Prices have started to get out of hand.
Very interesting. I always thought the carbonation was natural from the yeast like wine and champagne.
We went shopping in Penasco today, no bottles of Tecate/lite, Pacifico and Coors lite, only cans in the 4 places we went.
We're finding not so much a beer shortage but a shortage of beer in bottles. There is still plenty of bottles of Bud crap available.
I was told part of the reason the supply of beer in bottles is poor, is that city officials and property owners are tired of all the broken bottles
left on the beaches and roadsides. It's easier to pick up a can for the aluminum vs dealing with lot's of broken glass.
Mexico was great when we were down a few weeks ago it looks like it cooled down now down there. Perfect weather. Windows and doors open and no AC.
Wish I was back down there.
The weather is perfect in Penasco now. No A/C needed, really low humidity.
Pacifico with some lime in a nice glass is almost the same as in a bottle.
But, the canned Pacifico was in a Super Bock glass from Portugal, so it was better.
Sadly it made me wish I was still In Porto Portugal from 2 weeks ago..
Also RPT still won't let us attach any photos. :(

Per Encanto HOA-------> "IT DOESN’T MATTER THE SIZE OR COLOR OF THE GLASS BOTTLE, IF YOU ARE IN POSSESSION OF A GLASS BOTTLE ON THE BEACH YOU WILL BE TICKETED AND FINED ACCORDING TO THE POLICE NOW PATROLLING PENCA ". We now have regular patrols by the Muni Police in Encanto. Spotted them 3 times in here the past few days.
Interesting. taking a break from writing tickets for incomplete gringo stops to write some beach tickets. Nicer working environment for sure. The throwing trash out the window or breaking glass really isn't part of our culture. I see a lot of Bud lite and Tecate lite cans around though. Who drinks that crap almost exclusively?

the trash in the water and beach is from the past storm. they are trying to collect money if you find bottles more than likely from US coming over.
I seen no bottle police when we were down.

I seen no trash on the way down and on way back. A dead cow on side of the road thats it.
