It looks like she may or may not funnel up the Sea of Cortez, but for sure affecting the Labor Day Weekend

I think back a few years (don't remember the hurricane name), but it stalled on its way up right over San Carlos. Dropped 22" of rain in a little over 24 hours. Nearly flooded San Carlos off the map and wrecked the place.

and prompted a new elevated highway system for most the way from Hermosillo and Guaymas.
