Rentals?

What happens if people booked rentals and everything is still shut down in PP. Will full refunds be given for the deposits. Or are the rental places going to keep the deposit.

I lost $1800 in resort payments for a planned vacation in Portugal. Family run, small business ..... no recourse.
Maybe reschedule later in the year...

Airbnb changed it's refund rules for cancellation and everyone is required to refund the money.......

I would say that it depends on the rental agreement you enter into 30 days or 60 days cancelation 50 % or 100% refund. The US government has no jurisdiction in Puerto Penasco. One thing I’m Willing to bet on is many condo owners in sandy beach have already spent the down payment on monthly condo fees and utility bills. Good luck on the deposit return.

I will say if they go down that road no one will rent from them in the future.
