No closures, just long lines on Sunday around 6:00 - Spring is here!
Glad we were running a little late. Got to the border a little after 8 and no lines, only us and 1 other car. Then a 45 minute wait at the first checkpoint, even though they were checking 3 cars at a time, go figure.

Was that wait a the border or the immigration stop on the highway???
Were they examining the vehicles in detail or interviewing people or both? Dogs??
Three officers working separately to quickly check three vehicles at once. Asking where are you coming from and where you going, then thanks and drive safe. No dogs and no searches that I saw. Very efficient and professional, just doing their job. I assume the wait was because all lanes appeared to be open at the border so there were a lot of vehicles entering the US very quickly and they all got backed up at the one lane immigration stop. Even checking three at a time wasn’t enough. As usual , heading home on a Sunday afternoon or evening isn’t a good idea.
