The Electric Company in Rocky Point no longer shows your balance on our electric bills. We always prepay but cannot ever seem to find what are balance is. I know there is a website somewhere to check on our balance. Can someone walk me through how to access this information or where I can find it? I am not very computer savy and I know zero Spanish so a step by step explanation would be appreciated!
for starters go to http://www.cfe.gob.mx/casa/informacionalcliente/Paginas/Conoceturecibo.aspx of course it is in spanish but since I do not have service with them I can not help any more, since you need a user name and a password, I tried to go to the "english" version, but it does not have the same page for the account billing as it does in spanish.
One way is you can open a checking account a a local bank that debits you account for CFE payment. Just keep enough in there to cover a few months payments. To open an account you would need to get a FMT at the border. If you are interested I can find out what bank it is.
We have electric coming to Playa Encanto and most will be doing this.
