Does anyone have a good recipe for fish tacos that they do not mind sharing. A different spice mixture or marinade possibly.
Mentiras y Traición
This is a quick, down and dirty recipe, but the yogurt sauce is pretty good.
Fish Tacos
Flaky fish-grill, don’t over cook
Cumin
Garlic
Hot spicy pepper flakes
Pico de Gallo-jalapeno, cilantro, green onion, tomatos (chopped by hand) and their juice, all to taste
Cabbage
Warm corn tortillas (don’t’ fry)
Lime
Yogurt Sauce
Plain Yogurt
Whole Jalapeño
Green Onion
While pickled jalapeno
Put in bowl, add ½ yogurt, mix to creamy consistency

Tacos are pretty universal. Corn or flour tortilla (I like mine heated), any kind if green veggies, tomatoes, onions, etc. you want to taste, any kind of fish you like, your favorite salsa and sour cream or yogurt and or spices if you want. Use your imagination. If you put stuff in a taco that you like, chances are it will be a good fish taco. A little sqirt of jugo de limon is a good complement. They taste better on the beach and best on a boat. A little XX, Tecate or Claro Pacifico is OK too.

Thank you bahiatrader, I will give it a try. I agree that things taste is always better on the beach.

A little grated cheese is good sometimes. Shrimp and shellfish make tasty tacos also. I've never tried an oyster taco, but I think I'd like to.

Again, thank you.
