fishing 2-20 and 2-21

bouy weather is looking great for next saturday. Is anyone else gonna be heading down.Im sticking to my guns this time and will be grouper fishing. going to the farther reefs is taking its toll on me. I think im gonna be taking it easy for a while and fish the closer reefs. Hope to see some of you guys down there.

We will be down Fri. - Mon. Do you have any charter openings for Sat.? I need to confirm but there may be two of us.
Oh also how much.

No fishing for me until after the daughter gets married on the 27th. By then, I'll desperately NEED a trip!

we have been catching a lot of nice pintas in close lately... good luck...

just over 30 miles round trip... if you ask where we hooked the pintas, I'm gonna tell ya in the mouth... =]

hey. wood spinner. should be down there friday night. will be leaving the dock early saturday morning and returning late in the afternoon. if you still want to go let me know.

We ended up having family and friends down this time so I got told, NOT THIS TIME. Well we still want to go but may be next time. We try to go down every couple of weeks for the weekend.

I'm wishing I was gonna be down there, but the annual family trip to Disneyland is in March (can you hear the sound of money being sucked out of my wallet?)

Next trip to RP for me won't likely be until April.

You didn't go out in that did you? Nice today at least this am. I think I will just go out in the toon for a while. May end up going home this afternoon but I am pushing for Tues.

Hey, I will be fishing the reefs Saturday through Tuesday. I hope the weather calms down cause the freezer is getting low.

No did not go out. Good thing you cancelled saturday. If it would of just been scott and i we probally would of tried to go out. But we had a few people yhat were suppose to go wiyh us. One of the guys would of been his 1st ocean experiance. So that would of not been a good way to break him in. But should be down in 2weeks and try it again. But all in all it was a good time we got to watch live boxing matches that lasted for 5 hours. And hung out with art and shawn. So it was still a fun trip.

Seadweller was at the boxing doing some video work and he said they were great. As I said I went out on Mon am and started to fish. Within about 30 min I realized the swells were taller than me. The wind had come up, there was considerable chop and these 6 ft sewlls. Needles to say I headed in and the padeling was tough but the little class 4 pontoon had no trouble riding the waves in to shore. Like you say may be in a couple of weeks we can try again. I just came in and we packed up and came home.
