Naomi has been busy the last few months assembling an amateur Sea Shell Museum in her studio. It will have a soft opening (sneak peek) on January 12th. If you are down then that will be great! If not..... from January 12th on it will be open on Fridays from 10-5 and also by appointment. Tons of shells, tons of local knowledge and it's all free! Peñasco's first SeaShell Museum!

Very interesting, and exciting for Naomi! A few years ago, the Tucson Gem show had something on shell trading http://tucson.com/lifestyles/gem-trade-still-thrives/article_b1d1a862-d4f6-5b42-8151-c7150c6fa89a.html

Naomi gave me a sneak preview and it is really cool. Definitely worth a visit.
