Hi, I have done some research regarding fishing from the shore in PP.

A little background, I lived in Naples FL for 6 years and did a lot of shore fishing there but of course FL has no worries about catching circle hooks on rocks so I imagine that is going to be my challenge in PP.

Can you fish with sand fleas in PP? I used to make pompano rigs in early spring and used sand fleas as bait.

I see using kastmasters and doing the cast/reel is my best bet?

I saw the thread about the bobbers with a small water bottles so that is an idea.

Looking for any feeback!

I will be down there in early August and looking forward to my first trip to PP.

Keep the lines tight!

Never hurts to try what worked for you in Fl. I doubt you would find a sand flea big enough for bait unless you use an artificial one. My preference has been to stingray shuffle out as far as I can and sling metal fish looking lures. Any where from .5 to 1 oz. Bring lots of them.
