Cool stuff.

May I offer a second choice for storage;

Still a bit pricey but will last much longer than a 3 year contract AND not have all of your information being stored in cyber space for anyone smarter than a coder can reach out and take.

Keep your information within reach is my opinion. Atleast if you are hacked you have a chance of stopping it through your hardware firewalls and Anti-virus. Instead of finding about it in the news the next day. :)

That's not a bad price at all. I paid that for the 250 gig ssd I use in my laptop. SSD pricing is falling fairly fast.

Yes, and I generally wait several years before I use new series of anything. Remember the first Commercial SSD had that memory control chip issue? 100gig drive would fail at 79 gigs and LOSS of data lol. But they are better now.
These things are actually linked to oil prices. When oil prices are high you see Memory prices go up as well and when it rains too much it disrupts disk production in South Korea or what ever lol.
I just built my wife a new gaming rig and got a 1Tb drive for $45..... it's crayZ.

Android streaming media box WITH a DVR. Get a zillion channels and all the free movies you could ever watch and payper view events free. Great option for those with Satellite and no DVR or just basic cable in the condo towers.

What about something like this unit? Has anyone tried these portable units in RP?

That is pretty cool! The ability to be portable is very cool. Game changer for the RV crowd for sure.
The android streaming boxes are amazing because you only need an internet connection to have virtually unlimited channels and movies and pay per view totally free. Did you want the Pacquiao fight at no cost...done. The unique thing about the one I posted was that it also has a DVR.

You can also accomplish essentially the same thing as the android box above minus the DVR by downloading this for MAC or Windows http://www.tvaddons.ag/
There is also this which works very well and is free for movies and TV as well https://popcorntime.io/
